We have for you today a recipe from Ella's Kitchen!................
'Stamps, Punches & Embossing'
I couldn't decide on a sentiment for my card before it was e-mailed to Lori, however since then i have added one and will show a second picture a bit later today!
As you know i am a massive fan of Basic Grey products but when i saw the 'Marrakech' collection i was unsure as to whether it was quite 'me' .............i generally tend not to use many blues in my cardmaking, but the blues in this range are very vibrant and i love bright colours :) so decided i did 'need' it after all!!

Onto the recipe... the stamps i've used are.................the elephant from the Judikins cube 'Travels in India' the sentiment is (on the new pic coming later!) HOTP. Seven different punches......Fiskars 'threading water', EK Success daisy whale of a punch, Marvy giga punch 3" oval and the remainder are all Woodware....the two sizes of circles, and the two leafy ones! And lastly the embossing with two folders......Swiss Dots & Textile Texture. The extra things i've added are the gems which are Kanban, i paper pricked the panel beneath the image using an Ornare template, and i coloured my image using Adirondack inks :)(new pic with sentiment added)
I hope you can 'cook' up a card for us this week using Ella's recipe......................maybe you will have as much fun as i did! ;-DHugs

ReplyDeleteWow Carol the detail on this is stunning - I hadn't noticed the paper pricking at first but once you do it's a beautiful addition to the style of the card. Love it.
